Dictator Adenoid Hynkel tries to expand his empire while a poor Jewish barber tries to avoid persecution from Hynkel's regime.

Why 11

A war as farce, raids for realA 1917 battle played as pantomime, then uniformed soldiers smashing the ghetto's shop windows, painting "Jew" on the walls, nearly hanging the barber from a lamppost and taking people to a camp. A lot of noise, blows and falls, never blood.
A dictator who wants to kill a peopleThe tyrant announces the extermination of the Jews, has striking workers shot off screen, screams speeches in an invented language; a death threat, soldiers giving orders.
