What it's about

A man without attachments or responsibilities suddenly finds himself with an abandoned baby and leaves for London to try and find the mother. Eight years later after he and his daughter become inseparable Gloria's mother reappears.

Why 10

A sick child, and many tearsA father learns that his eight-year-old daughter has an illness that cannot be cured, and the film ends at her hospital bed; close to two minutes of crying, and death spoken of several times. It is a film that makes adults cry, a child needs to be warned.
Stunts, cigarettes and swearingThe father is a stuntman: falls, fires, a prop gun; he smokes a lot, drinks, and swears some thirty times. A mother who abandons her baby, then wants her back in court.
