- Threats that sound realThe dialogue carries hard words: characters are told they are dead, that someone will hurt them, and there is talk of blood and bloodlust. Nothing gory is shown, but the words land, and a crime-story dread runs under the bright colors. - Predators turning savageSeveral times an animal goes wild, growling and lunging, and the film leans into the fright: screaming faces, dark corridors, a nighttime chase, an underground lab.
