11 alone, 10 with a parent.
Alone, or with you
Alone from 11; from 10, with an adult or by talking about it afterwards.
The sweet spot: around 12-14, this is the age when you see the lie before the person it hurts, then the person before the joke. The film stops being a comedy of errors and becomes a question about what we allow ourselves to make others believe, and it is a good one to take to the dinner table. Why a sweet spot?

Jocelyn is a selfish and misogynist businessman. He tries to seduce a young pretty woman by pretending to be handicapped, till the day he meets her sister, who is also in a wheelchair.

at 11 and up
