The official US rating is G; we never go below it, and here we go above: 4. Alone from 4; from 3, with an adult or by talking about it afterwards.

The sweet spot: around 4-6, the age of the book: you know the rhymes, you wait for the Gruffalo and you laugh at the trick; at six, you explain it to the little ones. Why a sweet spot?

Official US rating: G; zinema says 4. In France, zinema would say 4.
