rule
A suicide in the very first sceneThe first episode opens on a locked-up patient urged by a voice to "stop the pain": he throws himself headfirst against the wall of his cell, the impact and the blood are on screen, then he is seen dead, his face bloodied. The scene is brief but frontal, and the suicide is presented as a release by the man who provokes it. We also learn that a policeman close to the heroes took his own life.
Kidnapped children, a manipulative killerThe whole story revolves around a brother and sister kidnapped three years ago: the boy comes back half blind and starving, his sister is still held captive. Victims buried alive are talked about, and a photo of one of them appears for a few seconds. The killer, though locked up, grabs a nurse by the throat and toys with everyone who comes near him.
Blows, guns and threatsA policeman slams a suspect's head against the interrogation table, shouting that he will kill him. A police raid is carried out with guns drawn, and night searches, flashlight and gun in hand, go through abandoned places. Apart from the first scene, there is almost no blood.
Swearing and a strip searchThe swearing is frequent. An alcoholic, violent father is mentioned. The heroine, who gets herself committed to investigate, undergoes a strip search filmed without showing anything.
