reading
A jungle with a jaguarA big cat that growls, a fall into rapids, a bridge that gives way, a mine that collapses: adventure frights, short, always resolved in the next scene.
A missing auntPaddington arrives in Peru and his Aunt Lucy has vanished; the film speaks of the lost bear and of parents nobody knows anything about any more, with a few tears.
The restKitchen knives, a captain who smokes, wine at the table: nothing that counts.

What the movie brings

A family that travels to the end of the world for a bear: loyalty as a given.
A villain who is not really one, and forgiveness at the end.
