Our readingThe pilots talk about their colleague in very crude terms among themselves, and the film never calls them on it. The rest is an aviation movie cut so fast that a shot lasts a second and a half.

Crude talk, never correctedThe fighter pilots swear a lot among themselves, about thirty coarse words across the film, including repeated strong ones, and some of it is aimed at a female colleague in blunt, locker room terms. Nothing in the film pushes back on that tone, so it is worth naming out loud with a preteen.
Gunfire, explosions, fightsShots are fired and heard at several points, explosions shake the last third, and there are marked hand to hand fights and weapons held or pointed on screen. It stays action movie violence rather than gore, with only brief glimpses of an injured person.
Deaths spoken, not shownPeople are killed and the film talks about it, a colleague shot down, someone assassinated, without showing the bodies. The weight lands in the dialogue, which is easier for a younger viewer than images but still real.
