Alone, or with you
The official US rating is PG-13, and we never go below it. Alone from 13, and not before, even with an adult.
The sweet spot: around 13-15, when you have learned what immigration is, and can sit through a long, dark film about a woman who builds. Why a sweet spot?
Official US rating: PG-13. In France, zinema would say 11.
Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini arrives in 1889 New York City and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society's most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.
Say beforehand that children live in the sewers and that a hospital burns; the film is long and dark on screen.
