What it's about

A CIA-trained assassin recruits other graduates from her secret childhood program, The Internship, to violently destroy the organization. The CIA fights back with deadly force.

Why 13

Our readingNot rated in the US. We say 13: An armed uprising against the CIA, a minute of gunfire and stolen childhoods: thirteen, twelve with an adult.
reading
An armed uprising against the CIAA killer raised from childhood in a secret program turns her weapons on those who trained her: over a minute of gunfire, a hundred and seventy shots of guns, explosions, and death spoken of twenty times. Little blood on screen, a lot of shooting.
A stolen childhoodThe subject is a program that takes children to make soldiers of them; it is told more than shown, but it is the heart of the film and needs to be understood.
The restSome forty swear words, cigarettes and drinks.

What the movie brings

A heroine who turns against those who made her: the question of what you owe to whoever raised you without asking.
A short, nervous action film, for a teenager who likes the genre.
Boarders who band together: revolt as a group, not as lone revenge.

Watching it together

Before

Say that it is an action film with a lot of shooting, and talk about the program that steals childhoods: that is the subject.

After

at 13 and up

The heroine gathers the other boarders instead of acting alone: what does that change?
