From 13, alone or with a parent.
Alone, or with you
The official US rating is PG-13, and we never go below it. Alone from 13, and not before, even with an adult.
The sweet spot: around 13-15, when you can follow a spy plot without it being explained, and a hero who asks forgiveness matters as much as the chase. Why a sweet spot?
Official US rating: PG-13. In France, zinema would say 12.
A CIA operation to purchase classified Russian documents is blown by a rival agent, who then shows up in the sleepy seaside village where Bourne and Marie have been living. The pair run for their lives and Bourne, who promised retaliation should anyone from his former life attempt contact, is forced to once again take up his life as a trained assassin to survive.
Say beforehand that Marie dies in the first ten minutes; after that, it is a tense action film, without unbearable images.
at 13 and up
Bourne ends up visiting the daughter of the people he killed: what good is it, since he cannot repair anything?
