What it's about

A story about a woman from the International Special Forces Unit, who has a premonition about the impending end of humanity.

Why 12

Our readingNot rated in the US. We say 12: an action film whose subject is child abduction, with a kidnapper made to suffer before he is killed and gunfights that leave blood behind. Twelve alone, eleven with a parent.
reading
Child abductions, spoken and shownAn eight-year-old taken from a football club locker room, a kidnapper who has taken so many kids his case is known internationally, forty-four missing in Romania: it is the subject of the film, present from the first to the last quarter hour. No harm to a child is ever shown, but the idea is there throughout.
said
A kidnapper made to suffer before he is killedI want you to feel what he felt: the reckoning with a kidnapper plays off screen but leaves no doubt, and the unit shoots to kill without a second thought. About thirty seconds of gunfire, fistfights, a few wounded and blood on the floor.
shown
Soldiers who drink, smoke and swearThe team's evenings happen at the bar, cigarette in hand, and the language follows. Nothing gratuitous, it is the tone of the genre.
shown
Dark nights and jump scaresNearly half the film takes place in the dark, with a dozen silences followed by a sudden bang and end-of-the-world visions haunting the heroine. Enough to make you jump, not enough to terrify.
