What it's about
Inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, gentleman thief Assane Diop sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family.

Guns are pointed often and fired rarely; close-up blood comes down to one fight and one fall in part 3.
- A kidnapped child, a teenager forced to shootRaoul, fourteen, is kidnapped in a car trunk with a gun to his head, and his father believes he died in a burning car. In part 3, a gang boss plays an ace or you're dead with a plastic bag over a man's head, and a neighbourhood mentor forces a kid to shoot a police officer. These are the hardest scenes in the series.
- Everyday racism and a father who failsCan Black people swim, a violin dealer who refuses to rent to him, a rich man forbidding his daughter to see those people: the series names the racism Assane has faced since childhood. It also tells of a son growing up without a father, a mother who left him, and a man who breaks every promise to his own son. Some swearing, smoking and drinking in the background.
