What it's about

Set against the backdrop of a postapocalyptic Earth whose Eastern Hemisphere was destroyed by a massive solar flare, leaving what life remains mutated from radiation and fallout. The story revolves around a group of treasure hunters who extract such objects as the Mona Lisa, the Rosetta Stone and the Crown Jewels while facing rival hunters, mutants and pirates.

Why 17

The official rating, firstRated R in the US (restricted, under 17 requires an accompanying parent). zinema never goes below the country's rating: it explains it.
rule
An action comedy that shoots a lotA treasure hunter crosses a ruined Europe to steal the Mona Lisa: nearly a minute and a half of gunfire, a hundred and fifty shots of fighting, explosions, bloodied wounded. Deaths are spoken of, never dwelt on.
Warlords and threatsGang leaders who torture and threaten, an end-of-the-world mood played for laughs, a few jolts.
Beer, cigarettes and swearingSome sixty swear words, survivors' canteens where people drink and smoke.

What the movie brings

The end of the world as a playground: a film that does not take itself seriously, and says so.
A hero who steals a painting and discovers it matters to others.
Post-catastrophe Europe, its castles and ruins, as an adventure set.
